Horse Summer Camp

Come and spend the summer learning to ride with us at our 131 acre retreat. The Chukkar Farm Horse Summer Camp for ages 5 and up is designed with the beginner in mind, and we offer each camper a fun and safe equestrian riding experience! Each action packed week will include not only lots of riding fun, but also the following...

* Educational programs including visits from an equine veterinarian,
  dentist, and blacksmith.
* Horse-related arts and crafts.
* Horse care including handling, grooming, and management.
* Horse games, hay rides, scavenger hunts, trail rides, and
swimming.

 

Weekly sessions are offered throughout the summer beginning in June. Each session runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM with extended hours available. We welcome both boys and girls from age 5 and up. Weekly enrollment is limited to 10 campers, supervised by our experienced adult staff of camp directors and counselors.

 

  We have 18 well trained horses in our camp program and our riding facilities include a 125' x 200' riding arena, a 100 yard x 200 yard grass polo field, a schooling pen, and three hours of trails through lush pastures, forests, and streams. We also have an air-conditioned clubhouse and swimming pool.
